    I am not sure I understand what this plugin does that wordpress already does straight out of the box. I use my own feed for posting new posts to a static non wordpress index page so this could be of help.

    - Why is this better?

    Hi Brian,

    This plugin replaces the default WordPress excerpt generator, to make the excerpt sentence-aware.

    i.e. instead of:

    "full sentence here. sentence start here [...]"

    you'd get:

    "full sentence here..."
