In the newest version of Sem. under Manage > Backup there's a scheduled cron backup. This is very nice, and I'd like to make use of it.

Couple of questions about using the scheduled backup...

1.) It seems there are only 2 "schedule" options--either daily or none. I would like a weekly backup (or twice monthly). Is there any way to set this? Daily backup would be overkill.

2.) Where will the backed-up tables be stored? Will the backed-up tables be sent to me as an email attachment?

3.) I'm assuming that the WP-Cron plugin needs to be activated for this to work?

    1) not that I know of. note that daily backup isn't overkill in practice, if you're posting new stuff every hour. also note that your host should have some kind of backup feature.

    2) as an sql dump, in a zip file, in the backup folder. on the top of my head, you can configure the plugin to send you emails, yes.

    3) wp-cron is not necessary for it to work -- it bundles its own custom version of wp-cron.

Thanks. Since I post about once or twice a week (to each blog), I think daily backups would be overkill. I'll see what my web host offers and maybe set up cron from Cpanel.

Re: Your answer to #2 above: Where is the backup folder located? I don't see it.
