Cant seem to get Zemanta's extension to work. Can anyone tell me how I can get it to work with semiologic? it works with all my other themes that are not semiologic. its a great service if I can get it to work that is.
It's probably a bug in the way Zemanta figures out if you are using Wordpress and which version should it adapt to. I'll try installing http://www.semiologic.com/software/wp-themes/sem-theme/ and see if I can reproduce the problem.
If there is something more specific in Pro version of the Semiologic, then we'll need the author of the theme to provide us with a copy, so we can fix the detection mechanism.
I should have a better answer in the beginning of the week and I'll report back here.
I can get it to work on my other sites that don't use simi but not on semi. Strange Could it be a setting? I can't figure this out. It lets me select a pic and articles and tags but will not insert in article. Any ideas?
lol, I just wrote a post on the add on today. The formatting drove me nuts, kept on putting the pics to the top and to the right and pushing down all the text.
Yea I think it is a great tool but might need some work to get it to work. I am sure they will be improving it. It was doing that to me as well. Made the page ugly, but on my new site it is working ok, but I think I got a bad upgrade I can not make out the editor buttons to edit my post LOL. I don't know how to fix it since I can't upgrade - says I have the latest version. any suggestions?
you should be able to upgraded to the same level. @ wizards/upgrade it says "Enter your site's ftp details to install (or reinstall) the latest stable version: 5.5 RC-3"
Well we do change the version numbering to a -sem version to disable the wp version checking functionality. It is possible that this is causing a problem. I bookmarked this for future investigation.
