    Hi,

I have asked three times about how to fix the transparent subscribe me drop down. I have been in some correspondence with you folks about the issue but I would like to know if there is any solution forth coming. I purchased semiologic about 6 weeks ago by browser is updated but still there is this problem. It only happens when using fire fox as far as I can tell. If you would like to see an example please go to http://www.netreturnmarketing.com/blog/. Please see the other posts by me to if you would like to see the history of the communication. Thank you,

    Peter G

    Hi Peter

We are volunteers on this forum. Sometimes answers are not given because the time isn't available to investigate the cause. I personally am primarily concerned with Semiologic problems which seem to exclude this one.

Why not keep all of your posts in one thread. Making this post would have elevated the entire thread to the top and we wouldn't have to search for your previous posts to see the history.

It doesn't seem to be a Semiologic problem because as you say, "it only happens when i use fire fox". I have Firefox and I don't have this problem. I looked at your site with my Firefox 3.0 browser and there is no problem.

    Peter,

I reported this in the bug hunt thread some time ago. Mike mentioned in another thread that he is working on a RC4, though I have not heard of a projected release date nor do I know what he plans to tackle in that release. The bug hunt thread has a number of issues reported, he has much to do.

And by the way, its not just the subscribe me but the bookmark be as well.

Not sure if Mike is prepared to address the question of the contents of a RC4 or not.

    Jeff

What version of subscribe me do you have installed on your site?

Thank you all for answer my question. I guess there is nothing that I can do for the time being. I have been down the technical route before and there does not appear to be a problem with the versions of the software that I am using. One last thing that I am going to try is to use an older version of the plug in. I have a friend who's blog is set up the same way and all the plugins work properly for him but he created the blog a while ago. This leads me to believe it might be fixed using an older version.

    Thanks

This is the second time that I have asked you :) What version of the plugin are you using?

If it's the beta version, download the stable version of semi pro download and upgrade your plugins.

Check all the semiologic plugins and make sure that they are all labeled RC and not beta.

It is the RC 4.2 I have been down this road before and all the versions that I am using are up to date. Even Fire Fox is up to date. I have talked about this in a previous post. Other people see see the same problem on our blog when they use Fire Fox but for some reason there is no problem with Internet Explorer.

When I brought it up many weeks ago, I believe Denis acknowledged the error for both the subscribe me AND bookmark me widgets and would be looking at it.

I can only hope he has been looking at this and other stuff while he has been away.

This looks to be fixed with the SLP 5.6 release.
